I want to say. In Russia in 2006, one engineer opened the ECU 9G. The problem is that he does not share the information as he did it. He has his own equipment and software. He reflash ECU for money in the city of Moscow. At the moment he makes chip tuning all Mitsu. Here is his profile on the same technical site  You are not allowed to view links. Come on people i dont like seeing all this negativity. Lets get together find the problem and resolved it. Matt is right you wont brick the pcm or ecu if you dont write to it. Just by reading or pulling the rom it just getting all the memory out and save it as a hex or bin file. Also is true a bad xml memory location could change the value to a wrong location and corrupting the file.

The code to read and write is there we just need it to twick and make better. People please please if you are not going to help please take your negativity someware else.

I cant work on this 100% because i dont have or own a 2004+ computer. And the current computer are expensive.

Anything is possible if you have the right mind set.

First Matt or my self need to get a hold of a 9g Computer to test bench the codes. But i dont have a 9g and the PCM are really expensive at this point. Matt has a better chance on getting one. I mean is hard for someone doing all the work and buying all the parts with no type of resources. I'm busy right now with the v6 and 2.4L 8G big maps.

The problem is that you have no ECU 9G? I have an extra ECU. Can I send you a mail for experiments?

I can make it even easier. Site E-Bay has an ECU 9G. Can I pay the value of the ECU and the costs of transportation. And you will receive ECU for your mail address.

There is another important question concerns the MAF sensor.  I plan to install supercharger. The Evo MAF is up to the turbine. It measures the number of incoming air and it is correct. However, from the point of view of the layout, the sensor is more convenient to install after the compressor. Here is a picture of SDS RIPP for 4G69 You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login As you can see in the pic, after the supercharger is set BOV, then MAF sensor. So the question. After the compressor, in the system there is a pressure, MAF will show the correct readings? Or it must be set prior to the compressor?
