Thinking about getting the Script Emblems and the Chrome gas cap, any opinions?

No drop, maybe the dealer can install the SRT8 suspension, but that would be as close as a drop as I would do. I really like the SRT8 wheels compared to doing anything crazy with the wheels.

Okay, I have a new wheel delimma

Go with the ones that I have liked in chrome, or go with the stock SRT8 look-a-likes in chrome?

I agree. I loved the idea of the mesh wheels because I've seen other pics of those wheels on a lighter blue challenger, but on this blue it has to be chrome.

With the chrome wheels, would you get the gas cap too?

I know I'm getting fogs for my bday, and hopefully i'll see a check soon for the lack of rental since my accident, and ill be selling the galant, so after buying my girlfriend a ring, i deserve a set of wheels haha

given the choice i'd go for the bhp. but godamn those are heavy :/
is it a challenger after all.. why not a classic 5 spoke?

i think those would look great. but.. not any lighter

I googled the Deep Water Blue Challenger, and I found a lot of the "Classic" Challenger that has those wheels, I'm not a fan of the stock ones because of the lip it has. I was looking into Foose that look like those, but should I be worried about how heavy the wheels are?

well, the lighter the wheel the better performance. its more weight to turn, more weight to stop, it'll wear on everything a little more. weight is one of the first things i look at for wheels. with some i can drop the weight of my car by 40lbs that can be a noticeable difference when its all in the wheels.

Well, of the two I posted, I'm going with the stock look. But if anyone can find a link to them at a lighter wheel, post it up. In a month or two I'll be picking these up

trouble is. its hard to find much in 20" thats on the light side.. and even harder to find something chrome thats light. i understand wanting a certain look tho. thats whats kept me from getting anything so far. ive got.. 9 different wheels written down on a paper in front of me. and i know i have more written down on other papers.

I don't do anything that is hard core performance, will heavier wheels effect me that much?

if you dont hammer on it much. cruise more than race around. you shouldnt notice much of a difference.
youre going to keep the stocks for winter right?

Yeah those stocks will keep the all seasons until I wear them out more, then I'll get snow tires. I don't race at all. I just cruise, I worked too hard to crash this thing by my own stupidity lol

IF I get the chrome gas cap too, I'll keep the stock one for the winter too, that way all the chrome is off and nothing is going to be out of place.

Would you get them from eBay, based on the tire they offer. Right now on TireRack its going to be just over 2K with shipping, and this guy offers free shipping, mounting, all I need to know is if this guy has TPMS.

the tpms isnt a huge deal. lots of guys go without them. some even tape over the light on the dash.
i personally havent ever gone thru ebay for anything. but usually if its a bad deal its because of the product itself. you know the wheels are good. so if youre comfortable with it, and its a better deal. go for it.

I'd prefer to just keep the tpms. I know its a $200 option I can opt out of and it doesn't take a dummy to check the wheels, but for waranty purposes and everything else, I just want to keep the car as normal as possible. That way I can't be blamed for something that isn't my fault.

I bought my old ADR's off of eBay, but I got the tires from Tire Rack. Based on the type of tire this guy is willing to put on the rims, I'll have to see what his package will end up being. I know the wheels themselves are only saving me $80 bucks, but free shipping is where I'm saving the money. Tirerack wants over $200 to ship the wheels with the tires mounted. Basically I just need the seller to respond, but I don't see an issue so far

I got a response from the guy on eBay. for $1600 he will mount Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 245/45/20 on them. I think saivng the $400 on shipping and tax is worth it. Plus I'll just have to buy the TPMS on the side, which will be easy. So I'll save over $200, plus the tires I chose on TireRack were not these tires, and it would make the cost of the TireRack ones even more expensive.

Any opinions to chime in would be great
