I'll probably do two of these forged engines, one for my daily and one for my weekend warrior ride.

Also...don't know of you guys have access to "K-sport" equipment?

I sent them a complete rear axle hub and knuckle with the handbrake etc so they could match up parts to  make a full 4 wheel kit for this platform.

( A lot of people can get front kits, but noone offers all four)

The kit I am waiting for delivery on consists of 8 piston fronts and 6 piston rears,,,with a fully working 380/9G handbrake.

As they say...if it goes hard, make the next priority the ability to stop by the same magnitude.

I got a replacement pulley from sprintex to step up the supercharger boost from 7.5 psi max to 12 psi max.

This should still be in the safe area according to sprintex in terms of intercooling.

However I purchased a spare intake plenum and am having it refabricated to include "laminova" cores as an intercooler solution.

Here is some info on the heat transfer cores, ideal for confined spaces..

Got the call to pickup the forged 6G75 in the morning....will take it straight to  TMR Melbourne. (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login)
Supercharged LPG, forged and balanced engine, heads ported and polished, with lowered 8.5 compression ratio, Sprintex S5-335 at 12 psi.
With a Limited Slip Differential in the auto to get the power to the road.

With all the cabin refinements of the GT..leather,sunroof, premium sound and GPS.

With a bit of luck I'll be driving it home Tuesday afternoon.

Apparently it will be right on the limit to needing an  intercooler.

Should be plenty of fun to be had...

good plan
one question, is the plenum welded or a custom cast unit?

Picked up the forged/balanced 6G75 a few hours ago.

Very professional looking job.

Recently worked behind the scenes with Rob aka Foozrcool at the tools forum....sent KSport a rear end off my 380 wreck so they could develop the rear caliper assy.

Plenty of people driving around with cars of all types and they all have fronts done...but the rears are toooooo hard.

Anyway I reckon it looks like shit when people only do the fronts...and even worse...paint the rears red...yuk

Anyway here are a few photos...make up your own minds but i reckon it turned out damn well.

Oh...they stop as good as the TMR380 package.

This GT got a full set of these KS-Sport brakes since it has the forged engine and now 12 psi boost.

Calipers,rotors,steel braided lines.

8 piston front and 4 piston rear.

I love the look of the bright red...it just stands out so well.

They stop brilliantly.

You need a set of wheels that the shop says is "Brembo compatible".

The tyres in these pics are same as TMR380- Yokohama Advan sport, were 400 dollars each are now 540 dollars each....so no more of those...only last 12 months with care and rotations.

I love the way it all looks so stock mitsubishi, the logo centers add the finishing touch...triple red diamond instead of ROH is nicer IMHO

Here is the stock 380 GT plate, luckily they made the TMR380 with 19 inch...else it may be illegal?

Guy who owns it sold me a wreck and stole the front ECU and other bits from it.
Banned me so I couldn't warn others...see modifiedmagna.com
Petty theft in my opinion.
