Kitten's 97 Legnum VR4
« on: September 21, 2011, 01:54:23 AM »
I've got the build thread going on for the TD05 turbos, but this is more from start to finish what I've done and will update with other things happening aside from the build.

You can find the build thread here: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

So, some of you will know that I had my subs stolen. A blessing in disguise maybe? Now I get a custom install and 2 x Alpine Type R 12" to go in. Done by my partner, Paul of VAS Vehicle Audio and Security, with only a little assistance from me, though I seem to have gotten the most covered in sawdust!

Stripped out

Hard at work.

Bottom of floor box down, sub box in. Don't know if you can see, but inside the sub box is graduated and the back is on a tilt, to go over that metal railing and fit snug up against the back seats. So it fits in nicely.

Front plate on, top of floor box on.

Finished result :)

Body kit finally on!

Yum, ARC intercooler. Oh, and the boyfriend.

Been a while, some more updated pics.

Can you tell it's a chick's car?

Cause I HATE the walnut, had centre console painted black with red pearl. Oh and new dvd unit/Pioneer head unit cause my blue one crapped out lol.

The VR4 and my partner's Accord Euro wagon side by side.

18s on it now.

Club VR4 meet :)

Tein adjusties on

These Recaros will be going in

Painted!

That stereo install was very nicely done! The center portion of the Recaros, is that a carbon fiber, or a mesh fabric that is making it look like carbon fiber in the photo? They look really nice.

Looks good!  I personally prefer the stock bumper but its a nice clean install anyway.  Love the subwoofer choice!  Alpines ftw!

They are stock Recaros out of an Evo, they're actually a yellowish/greenish colour, not carbon fibre :)

Boot installation we are going to be redoing as got a matching smaller amp as the larger one, so need to redo it.

Too bad wasn't a sunny day! Very overcast today. So car looks black lol

pretty nice leggy! i am partial to the pre-facelift boot but thats just me. a little more aggressive i think. good color choice on the car too and the sub install...sublime! seems like your leggy is taking all the right strides to yet another car to look for here on GT.

Yes, I prefer much the pre facelift boot, I think the facelift looks ugly personally. You can't really see but we smoothed this bit out so it doesn't have those grooves on it too

At a show n shine I was at

Underbody strut brace

New bumper, eyelids, grill. They are at the painter's atm, should be back by Monday arvo in which I'll post updated pics. Also got the rear number plate panel which is very hard to find, and bogged out the grooves in it so it's flat (same as what we did with the rear garnish) so will update with that pic as well. We will be adding the facelift twin spotlights in once we get our hands on some.

I also have an Evo style bonnet on its way to me as we speak.
