

Pic1 is my RVR ECU socketed. Take a look at the microprocessor, most likely your ECU has this too. It's mean your ECU is OBD1.5/hybrid. It uses OBD2 data link connector and similar 2G ROM codes but 1G DTC and emission. Basically, an ECU made during the time of transition to OBD2. You can not log using an OBD2 NOR OBD1 logger cable, log with either Evoscan with a generic 16-pin cable for Evo I-III/MUT-II or PalmOS with a MUT-II file and homemade cable.
Pic2 is the ECU connecter, looks like a OBD1 ECU from the 1G but the plugs are like the OBD2 style
Good new is that there are some ECU upgrade available. List below are some ECUs that are plug and play while others require swapping some wires at the harness. Most of them have an eprom and there are definition files available for either SOHC-distributor or DOHC-coil.
