Welcome to Galanttuners...we are very happy you are part of our community. I personally have several of your gauges in my Galants. Matter of fact my Galant VR4 is in your customers ride section of your website. 8-)

I have recommended your products to many people...I am very happy with my Prosport gauges. I am currently replacing ALL my current gauges in my other 1996 Galant.

Welcome again to GT

welcome to the site, im glad you joined cuz i do have a question about the gauges

i bought 2 gauges (boost and oil pressure) for my volvo 740T, wired everything but didnt install the sending unit until a while later since the location was hard to get to and the wire was hard to run unless the car is cold

wired everything properly for the oil pressure gauge and im not getting any reading, the needle is on the max (100psi) i think and the colors aren't working properly cuz when the lights are off the gauges should light up white and with the lights on it should be green but it stays white

the colors used to work properly before i wired up the sending unit, i havent dug up my wires to see if something came loose but what do you think the problem can be ??

Nice!

For your 52mm Digital Series Gauges, what color are the digits for the boost, oil, and temp gauges? Are the digits available in different colors?

ok, with the gauge pegged out that indicates an open circuit. IS the sender grounded seperately? you should have a ground wire from the sender (performance series).?

Lighting: the orange wire needs to have a 12v power source (to make the gauges turn green when the lights are on) so most likely you are tied into a dimmable circuit and thus not getting 12v. so easy fix is to turn up the dimmer and see if that works. if so, you may want to consider moving that to a true headlight switched power source.

yeah, it is very basic business practices that we have followed for years. To us it is normal, but so many customers rave about it and always makes me wonder...how other companies survive without taking car of their customers.

yes the sender has 2 terminals on it so one is used for ground and without giving it its own ground it doesnt work so i gave it its own ground from the block

as far as the lighting i think the source i used might not be stable for power but i used the same source for my boost gauge as well and that operates properly so thats why im confused

and thanks again for offering to help with your product i know my next set of gauges for my Galant when its boosted will be from you and this time i wont buy them from ebay :)

Bought two of your gauges, oil pressure, and volts, and will be buying more deff the best gauges! I myself, like "spdracr", installed the oil pressure gauge but not the sender due to cold wheather and possition of the oil sending switch on the block. But im getting tired of seeing it pegged at 100psi haha so im going to hook it up very soon within days. Do i replace my oil sender with the one you guys shipped me? simply take the old out and install the new? wasnt to sure on this, any help?

Yes, you need to use our sender. It is 1/8"NPT but not sure if it will screw right into the stock location. We do have the oil filter adaptor plate that installs in minutes (R&R the oil filter) and then screw the sender into one of the ports.
